I don't think there could have been more twists to all the characters. Jas is such a skilled lover. Guilt, desire, suspense and love all overflow. On to book 3!
This story was unbelievably good, drama, mysterious events in the storyline of this book. Passion for the characters in this book were fantastic and there was so much more to be looking forward to, in the final book. Get you tissues out this is tears kind of story. Too much to tell you what you want to hear to give this story away.
O M G, this story just keeps getting better and better, Shea and Jasper were drawn to each other after her husband died, and his best friend. But oh, a series of secrets, lies, deception (perceived or not), events keep happening, situations arise, police keep looking at her for motives into his death? What will happen next? So ready for bk. 3
I've always really enjoyed all of this writers books & enjoyed this series, as well.
It's just that this story seemed pretty darn slow and seemed almost all from the female prospective.
I've always loved the fact that in her other books the writer typically writes alternating character perspectives - but this series seemed different.
Still enjoyable -just slow.
This is the second in the Wicked trilogy, the story of Shae's struggles to regain normalcy in her life after the death of her husband in what first appears as an accident but eventually seems to be suicide. Her husband's best friend Jasper is eager to help her through problems with her husband's estate and his greedy family. All seems to be working out in this second part of the story until Shae discovers an email on her husband's laptop that casts doubt on Jasper's version of what lead up to Allen's suicide. This books ends with Shae making the difficult choice of what to do with this new information, then being shocked by a shocking turn of events.

I thought Parker did amazing with Wicked Lies she blew me out of the water with Wicked Kiss. Again I had the chance to review her amazing writing ability. I’m telling you if you haven’t read any of her book I would start with the Wicked series you will not be disappointed.
Shea is facing all the lies that she never expects she would ever be exposed too. There were three men she always knew she could count on and now two of them have caused her to second guess herself. The one that has been by her side through the death of her husband is his best friend Jasper. Jasper has become her rock, showing her nothing but what she need at any given time. This is until she finds that he is hiding more than just one lie from her. Can see look pass his mistakes and move on with life or will she give up on everything?
It just keeps getting wicker. Will Shea ever find happiness and trust again. I’m getting goosebumps just thinking what the next book will bring.
The second installment, A Wicked Kiss, is heavy on the romance and much lighter on the thriller than the first. Shae is dealing with her husband Allen's death, and his best friend is still there to help Shae through. Shae and Jasper continue their relationship from the first book and it gets hot and heavy quickly. Their chemistry and love scenes are smoldering. Shae is also still dealing with Allen's inheritance and trust with his family still fighting her all the way.
I really loved the first book in the series, however found myself a bit bored while reading this book. Even though the love scenes were written well, I felt there were too many. It's never a good sign when I'm skimming through those paragraphs. It was very heavy on the Erotic and not so much with the Thriller aspect. I really liked the set up of the first book - a married woman losing her husband that she loved so much. Now Shae is dealing with her feeling for Jasper and that is at the crux of the story. The thread of the Thriller aspect didn't hold my interest as much. Yes, there were some plot twists but not as compelling for me.
